Abel Nava has been named washingtonstatewrestling.com "Youth Athlete of the Week" for October 24, 2016.

Abel is 12 years old with a very accomplished wrestling resume already, as a 2x USA Wrestling All-World team member Abel has no shortage of successes not only on the mat but also in life.  Abel loves soccer and attends Granger Middle School where his favorite subject is History.  Abel would love to continue his wrestling career in college when that day comes at Oklahoma State or Fresno.

Abel currently wrestles for Victory Wrestling Club out of Granger, WA and is coached by Rene Torres.
