Bonney Lake is coming off a specular season last year, with the core nucleus returning minus Mason Sabin who’s family relocated to Buckley.  Bonney Lake will be the 3A team others will be gunning for with 3 returning State Champions:  Brenden Chaowanapibool, Brandon Kaylor and Sam Peterson leading the charge. 

Heading into State last season Bonney Lake had some road bumps with the skin infections and injuries however were able to overcome those challenges and find themselves #1. 

Bonney Lake focus this year will be in the present not past glory, with another very tough schedule of tournaments in multiple states, look for Bonney Lakes team to be ready for any obstacle put before them.   One the most exciting part of this season is the incoming Freshmen Yusief Lillie.  Lillie is WSWA #1 on the top 10 incoming freshmen list and rightfully so as he claimed Double All-American status this past summer at Fargo where he was crowned a National Champ in Greco.  He is arguably the most hyped up incoming freshmen in decades, look for him to help Kaylor and crew lead the charge this Winter in Tacoma.
