WSWA does not provide Airfare/transportation to and from Fargo, we do provide ground transportation while in Fargo.  Below are two flights your athletes can fly on and have coaches on the flight, you however can chose whatever airport and airlines you desire.  Book early for best rates...  

2017 Fargo Information

Items to do:

  • Make your deposit payment by May 15, 2017
  • Make all payments by July 1, 2017
  • Fill out the medical waiver

Fargo Hotel Information

  • Best Western: 701-282-2143
  • Hotel rooms are taken care of for the wrestlers.  All parents must call and reserve your own room

All wrestlers need to bring money to Fargo for food.  Food is on your own. All gear is to be picked up at Fargo unless at Duals or West Regionals.

Weigh-in Information

  • All wrestlers must make scratch weight for both styles. Freestyle & Greco both have 2 weigh-ins with a 2 pound allowance on the second weigh-in.  The only division that only has 1 weigh-in are Cadet Freestyle Girls. 

Schedule of Wrestling

  • Cadet Freestyle: Weigh in Friday (July 14th) night and begin wrestling on Saturday.  Sunday morning weigh-in again with a 2 pound allowance and finals on Monday. 
  • Cadet Greco: Weigh-in Tuesday (July 18th) night and begin wrestling on Wednesday.  Weigh in again on Thursday with a 2 pound allowance and finish wrestling on Friday.
  • Junior Freestyle: Weigh-in Saturday (July 15th) night and begin wrestling on Sunday.  Monday morning weigh in again with a 2 pound allowance and finals on Tuesday.
  • Junior Greco: Weigh-in on Wednesday (July 19th) night and begin wrestling on Thursday.  Weigh in again on Friday morning with a 2 pound allowance and wrestling concludes Saturday afternoon. 
  • Cadet Women: weigh in Sunday (July 16th) night and wrestle Monday and finish on Tuesday. 
  • Junior Women: weigh in Wednesday (July 18th) morning. Wrestle on Wednesday and weigh-in again on Thursday morning with a 2 pound allowance.  Finals and medal matches are on Friday. 

How much does it cost?

The cost to attend Fargo is $400 - $450.  This includes; transportation, entry fee, hotel, coaching and Fargo camps.

The National Team gear is optional but you must have Team Washington singlets (any year will work).  To purchase the gear go to: (COMING SOON)


Fargo Camp: July 1-4, 2017

Location: Cispus Learning Center

(Gifford Pinchot National Forest: 2142 Cispus Rd.  Randle, WA)

Check-in is at 12pm on Saturday, July 1st - Check out is at 11:45am on Tuesday, July 4th

Cost is $200 for those not participating in Fargo.  Those attending Fargo the camp is free.


Food and lodging is provided for those attending the camp.  Lodging is provided on Cispus Learning Center.

Items to bring: wrestling gear, workout clothes enough for 2-3 workouts per day, towels, toiletries, bedding.

Cadets that meet the birth date requirements by USA Wrestling also compete in the Junior Individual Tournament in Fargo and Dual Team Championship at Fargo.
