2020 National Team Information

Temperatures fall, the leaves change, but one thing remains constant: the wrestlers of summer turn into warriors in the winter.  

Washington State Wrestling is exciting to begin preparation for the 2020 National Team season, this year we are hosting teams in the following events:

  • Journeyman Classic (New York) April
  • 14U Duals (Indiana) June
  • 16U Duals (Illinois) June
  • Junior Women National Duals (Oklahoma) June
  • Western State Championships (Idaho) June
  • USMC Junior National Championship (North Dakota) July


WSWA will be hosting our main National Teams training camp in Cusick, WA over Memorial Day weekend followed by many Regional training practices held throughout the state.  If you are interested in being apart of WSWA National Teams please take the time to fill out our links below, for additional information please contact your respected director or feel free to email

Washington is allotted 3 spots at each weight class per division for USMC Junior Nationals, by placing Top 4 at any Regional you secure your spot and these athletes do not count towards our 3 spots allotted by USAW.   If you do not participate  and/or place Top 4 at a Regional you can earn your spot by placing Top 3 at WSWA Freestyle/Greco State, if you do not place you can petition and we will try to get you in however there are additional fees for petition athletes and space is limited.  No Guarantee
